Water Damage and Flood Restoration Cleaners
Flood restoration can lead to severe water damage, and that is why at Steamy’s Carpet Care, we use top quality equipment to make sure your water damage is retained. Below are some of the finest flood restoration cleaners that Steamy’s Carpet Care uses to quickly and safely clean your home:
The Water Claw
Water Claws are used to extract water from both your carpet and cushion (pad) to avoid having to remove the pad and to prevent carpet water damage. It works very effectively and, with proper air movement, can dry the carpet and cushion out completely within 24-48 hours, even if was originally saturated with fluid.

Flood Restoration Dehumidifiers
We carry flood restoration dehumidifiers: Large (Shown): These are used to draw moisture out of the air, which will lessen the humidity and aid in drying the areas needed much faster than when not used. The moisture is pulled into the dehumidifier and then dispensed through a hose to drain. This also will prevent other porous surfaces from absorbing the moisture from the air and prevent damage to home items that may draw in that moisture.
Air Movers
These are the most important pieces of flood restoration equipment we use. This allows for the maximum amount of air to be circulated to aid in the drying process. These are placed under the carpet, on top of the carpet, directed towards walls or other areas that are wet to quickly dry your Home and Personal Items. Without the proper air circulation, water damage restoration is nearly impossible. With heat and moisture mixed together it can create Microbial Growth (Mold/Mildew) and a much more hazardous situation to your health if prolonged. The more air the better-ALWAYS.
